Wedding Photographer
Camilla Piana
Italian born in 1988, she is a professionist photographer, and wedding photographer for more than ten years, driven by love and in search of light.
Strictly in colour and large format, her photography, also like wedding photographer is a proof of love and a constant tendency towards exterior and above all interior brightness, a true rebirth ‘towards light’.
Interested for the curious, the unexpected and the natural possibility of error that film, only film, can generate and return and her tendency towards long-term work, led her to shoot in Italy, Eritrea and Portugal (where she lived for three years); she calls herself a ‘hunter’ and a ‘love thief’. Her photographs were recently exhibited at the Triennale Milano and at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome.
Her ‘bottom-up’ portraits have a monumental impact: the natural predisposition of the Rolleiflex for a bottom-to-top view becomes a very recognisable stylistic feature in her production but rarely explored by contemporary photography, from which Camilla, like photographer and wedding photographer, takes a slight distance.
As they write about her on Fisheye Mag, she prefers to draw inspiration from cinema: Hitchcock precise and mysterious, Almodovar for his passionate colours, but also from the early films of Dario Argento.
Wedding Photographer is a Photographer and photography is love
